Health Funds Information

In order to keep our membership fees at the lowest price, we do not offer provider numbers directly to members.

The IICT is not directly listed with many of the health providers below however, practitioners can contact Private Health Funds individually to apply for provider numbers. If you find that you are unable to obtain health fund provider status on the merits of your existing qualifications you may wish to consider joining an Association who can offer its members automatic recognition.

Below you will find a list of the major Health Funds in Australia where you can apply for provider number status.

In order for your clients to receive rebates, most health funds will require a valid first aid certificate, valid Insurance Cover and proof of your qualification/s for the modalities you wish to receive provider status for. On your clients invoice you will need to provide your business name, business address.

Please note that many Health Funds are under the banner of the Health Funds listed in red. For example, if you receive a provider number from the Australian Health Management Group, automatically all of the health funds listed under their banner will accept this provider number, so your clients can claim rebates.

You will also notice some Health Funds charge a one-time fee, whilst others do not. Health Fund rebates will vary from one Health Fund provider to the next, as do the modalities recognised and level of qualification required.
