Introduction to the Insurance Policy - Specialist Insurance for Complementary Therapists
OAMPS is a business built around partnerships. Our ability to recognise the unique requirements of certain industries sets us apart in today's over-standardised insurance market.
OAMPS' first opportunity came when a member of the Australian Petroleum Agents and Distributors Association (APADA) expressed dissatisfaction with the method in which underwriters assessed his risk. Traditional perceptions needed to be challenged and, with the support of his Association and fellow members, the Oil Agents Mutual Provident Society (OAMPS) was formed. OAMPS received a mandate from APADA members to source a new insurance market that would not only provide broader coverage, but also a more competitive approach to pricing in recognition of a pooled membership buying approach.
Since that time, OAMPS has continued to work with a number of different organisations (including IICT) to develop equitable, specialised and competitive insurance services. In partnership with such organisations, OAMPS develops competitive insurance cover the suit the specific needs of the particular industry, while at the same time, ensuring the professional body and its members benefit from the relationship.
OAMPS is a leading supplier of specialist insurance for Alternative/Complementary Medicine and Natural Therapies including Massage Therapies and Yoga to name a few.
