The following is a step-by-step procedure to joining IICT
IMPORTANT: Securing your membership and insurance is a two-step procedure.
Step 1: Join IICT
Joining the IICT provides professional affiliation and verification of your qualifications in Natural Therapies.
As an IICT member you are eligible to gain a discounted insurance rate through OAMPS insurance brokers.
Joining IICT is easy - just follow the instructions below:
After selecting your chosen membership from the IICT Membership page
1. Click on the JOIN NOW button
2. Complete the registration form
Under the Required Section for New Members click on your chosen Membership and complete the additional required fields for your registration.
Click on the REGISTER NOW button to proceed to the Confirm Invoice screen.
Note: If you do not have a credit card - click on the Do Not Have a Credit Card link to view details for paying via EFT and follow the steps provided.
3. Click on the PAY NOW button
You will now be redirected to PayPal 100% Secure Online Payment Gateway to process payment for your membership.
Note: for your convenience all online payments are now 1 year auto recurring payments processed through the world's #1 online payment solution PayPal.
4. Process Payment
If you already have a PayPal account, simply log in to your account to process the payment.
If you do not yet have a PayPal account click on the pay by credit or debit card link and complete the requested details. A PayPal account will be created for you upon checkout.
Once you have processed payment through PayPal if you are not automatically transferred back to the IICT website, click on the return link.
Congratulations, you have successfully submitted your membership application to IICT.
Then what happens?
The IICT will issue you with an IICT membership certificate and membership* number along with your welcome pack. (*you will need this member number in order to access the members discounted insurance rates through OAMPS).
STEP 2. APPLY FOR OAMPS INSURANCE
Once you are an IICT member and have received your membership number you can apply for your discounted insurance package through OAMPS insurance brokers.
Option 1. Apply for Insurance online
To apply go to: www.iict.com.au/insurance/insurance-application and fill in the online form and click send. Once you have clicked send you will have a cover note in place and OAMPS will get back to you in the post with confirmation of your policy and will invoice you for the amount payable. If your insurance is urgent, please contact OAMPS on: 1800 222 012 to check the status of your policy.
Option 2. Apply for Insurance by hard copy application form
CLICK HERE to download the application form. Fill out the OAMPS application form and either post to: OAMPS Insurance Brokers PO BOX 852 East Melbourne Victoria 8002 Australia, or fax to: 1800 000 472.
Then what happens?
OAMPS will invoice you once your paperwork has been processed. If you have applied online you will have a cover note in place until you have paid for the insurance policy.
NOTE: DO NOT SEND MONEY until you have been invoiced from OAMPS in the post. (usually 5 days)
